Delete Your Account

To delete your CookSocket account, open the CookSocket app and go to Profile > Account > Delete Account. Follow the instructions in the app to confirm your request.

Pending Orders

If you have pending, active, or upcoming orders, you may need to cancel or complete those orders before deletion can be processed. This helps us manage payments, refunds, order tracking, customer support, and host responsibilities.

Deletion Timeframe

After we receive a valid deletion request, we aim to delete or anonymise your personal account information within 30 days, unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, safety, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute, refund, or transaction-record purposes.

What We Delete

We delete or anonymise personal account information linked to your CookSocket account, such as profile details, saved addresses, contact details, login-related information, preferences, and other user account data where deletion is technically and legally possible.

What We May Retain

We may retain limited archived records where necessary, including order history, transaction references, support records, legal records, fraud prevention records, dispute information, or records required for tax, accounting, safety, or regulatory reasons.

Third-Party Sign-In

If you signed in using Google, Apple, Facebook, or another supported sign-in provider, deleting your CookSocket account will remove or anonymise the personal account data we hold about you in CookSocket, subject to the retention reasons explained above. Deleting your CookSocket account does not delete your Google, Apple, Facebook, or other third-party account. You may also remove CookSocket from the connected provider's account settings.
