Enter your postcode or choose your location, browse available home kitchens, select your food, choose an available date and fulfilment option, then proceed to checkout. You may need to create an account or log in before placing an order.

What fulfilment options are available?

Depending on the kitchen, orders may be available for host delivery, customer collection, takeaway, or dine-in. Each kitchen controls the fulfilment options, availability, preparation times, and service times shown in the app.

Does CookSocket provide delivery drivers?

No. CookSocket does not operate a separate rider or courier network. Where delivery is available, it is arranged and fulfilled by the host kitchen. Delivery availability, fees, distance, and timing may vary by kitchen.

How long does delivery, collection, or takeaway take?

Timing depends on the host kitchen, selected date, preparation time, service type, and your location where delivery is available. You will see available dates, time slots, and any estimated preparation or fulfilment information before placing your order.

Are there delivery fees?

Delivery fees, if applicable, are set by the host kitchen and may depend on distance, minimum order value, delivery area, or other kitchen settings. Any delivery fee shown at checkout should be reviewed before you place your order.

Can I collect my order?

Yes, where a kitchen offers collection or takeaway. The app will show available collection or takeaway options, dates, and time slots before checkout. The kitchen address or collection details will be provided where needed to fulfil the order.

Can I dine in at a host kitchen?

Some kitchens may offer dine-in where available. Dine-in availability, seating, date, time, and any house rules are managed by the host kitchen and shown before you place your order.

What payment methods do you accept?

Available payment methods may include major debit cards, credit cards, and supported digital wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. Available payment methods may vary by region, device, and platform.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Cancellation or modification options depend on the order status, selected fulfilment type, host kitchen policy, and whether preparation has started. Please check your order details in the app. If the host has already started preparing the order, cancellation or changes may not always be possible.

What if there is an issue with my order?

For order-specific issues such as food quality, missing items, delivery, collection, takeaway, dine-in arrangements, refunds, or cancellations, please contact the host kitchen in the first instance through the app or using the contact option provided. If the issue cannot be resolved with the host, you may contact CookSocket support for assistance.

How do reviews and ratings work?

After a completed order, customers may be invited to leave an order review and menu item ratings. Reviews should be honest, respectful, and based on a genuine completed order. Kitchen and menu item ratings may be calculated from eligible customer ratings and updated when new eligible reviews are submitted, edited, removed, or excluded under our Reviews & Ratings Policy.

Can hosts deliver their own orders?

Yes, where host delivery is enabled. Hosts are responsible for managing their own delivery availability, delivery area, timing, and fulfilment. CookSocket does not provide independent delivery riders.

How do I start selling food on CookSocket?

Visit the Start a business section to learn how to create a host account, set up your kitchen profile, add menu items, configure availability, and choose the fulfilment options you support. Hosts are responsible for meeting applicable food safety, hygiene, registration, tax, and local legal requirements.
